A friend was wearing similar Jack Rogers sandals I found for over $100 and were uncomfortable. These Clarks are every bit as flattering for a woman in her mid-50s; >1/2 the price of the Jack Rogers; and very comfortable. I love the feeling of getting a good deal that I will wear again and again. They fit perfectly length wise and a perfect width so they don't slide. I have a high arch and need a wider toe.
